PRIVACY POLICY
At Botanical Skin Works we recognize the importance of your privacy. Our policy has been always been, and continues to be, to treat what we learn about our customers as confidential. For example, we will not give or sell confidential or personal information about our customers to any third party not affiliated with their transaction.

CREDIT CARD POLICY
We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and PayPal.

CHECK POLICY
All Personal Checks must clear before product is shipped.  All returned checks will be charged a $30.00 administrative fee.

SHIPPING & LEAD TIMES
It usually takes 7 business days from the receipt of your order until shipment. Ours are handcrafted specialty products and we do not warehouse . We do not prewrap soaps, as we want the packaging to be as crisp, fresh and new as possible when you receive them. This time is required to cut, wrap, and package your soap properly. We do have times when we run out of one or several soaps on our list. We will recommend substitutes, and we prefer not to handle back orders. We do not warehouse skin care items as mentioned previously.  We want everything delivered to you fresh.

We ship via USPS Priority Mail.  In most cases this means  2-3 days shipping time.  You will receive a notification when your order has shipped.

INGREDIENTS POLICY
Botanical Skin Works uses only natural ingredients in all of our products.  You will not find synthetic ingredients or preservatives.  Because there are only natural preservatives (Vitamin E, Raw Honey, Essential Oils, Neem, Rosemary Extract or Wheat Germ Oil) in our skin care line, they are made fresh in small batches of 48.  Please be advised, our creams and lotions have a shelf life of 8 - 12 months.  Please refrigerate any unused lotions or creams after 3 months.  Because of the nature of our products, some natural separation may occur.  Stir or shake product before each use. 

 

Product Return Policy
 
Your satisfaction with our products is of greatest importance to us. If you wish to return a product please call customer service and obtain a return authorization number. You can call 1-410-675-2006 to obtain this number.

Returns must occur within 7 days of your shipment receipt for all items. Because of Hygienic safety we cannot accept returns of opened products.  The products must be unused and in their original sealed condition. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee unless it is an item that we mis-shipped or the item was damaged.  We will replace items that were damaged in shipping, however, those items must be returned so that we can make a claim to the carrier.  We cannot be held responsible for shipping delays with the carrier and cannot reimburse for shipping expenses unless it was our fault. ONLY Credit will be applied to your Account, not your credit card, for all returns minus the restocking fee. We do not issue refunds for any reason, again unless it was our fault.

 After the number has been obtained, you can return the product by doing the following:

    1. Place the original (or copy of the original) invoice in the box.
    2. Clearly write the return invoice number on the outside of the box.

Always keep all essential oils and Botanical Skin Works products out of the reach of children.  If redness, burning, itching or irritation occurs, stop using product immediately and consult your medical provider if self treatment is not effective. If irritation does occur then apply vegetable oil, not water, to the effected area and dry. Again, to stop burning, redness, itching or irritation do not add water; instead apply generous amounts of vegetable oil to the area.

 

If you are pregnant or nursing a baby, have heart disease, epilepsy, high blood pressure or diabetes, seek the advice of a health professional before using any essential oils or Botanical Skin Works product.

 

Please test all skin products before using. Apply a small amount to the skin on your inner arm. Do not use if redness or irritation occurs.
