This was my first serious bar of soap.  I had been researching ingredients and actually got addicted to the research part.  I have a girlfriend who suffered from serious acne.  Sometimes her skin was so inflamed from the breakouts.  It was quite painful for me to watch because I never suffered with acne.

I drove her crazy with questions on what she was using and what worked, what didn't work, what her skin felt like before cleansing with the product and what her skin felt like after cleansing with the product.

Finally, I asked her for her wish list in a bar of soap for her acne.  She gave me a laundry list of exactly what this bar of soap must do.

• Deep Cleanse
• Do not strip skin to where it starts to dry and crack like the desert
• Leave skin feeling clean and fresh - as if someone cleaned out your pores
• Help protect the skin from elements
• Something that won't take  weeks to see the visible difference
• Oh yeah… it must smell good

I took on the challenge to create a bar that does all of this while helping to leave the skin clean, soft and supple.

She used the Acne-Safe Facial Bar and returned one week later.  I couldn't believe what I was seeing.  She told me that she felt beautiful.  

That was 9 years ago and I am still making the same bar with the same ingredients with customers getting the same results
