My husband is a wonderful man with a wonderful sense of humor.   He's handsome, kind and generous of heart.  So you might ask what is the deal.   He has had a beard and has had a beard for more than half his life.  You can't ask someone to remove something that has been a part of them for so long.  So WE had to do something to make it better.

During the winter, it seemed there were always flakes around and on his chest.  Finally, I asked him did the beard irritate him.  He said yes.  At times his skin would get dry underneath the beard.  BING!  Big idea here.  Research time.

I needed to develop a formula that would work quickly to soften the beard, moisturize the skin, anti-inflammatory properties, anti-bacterial properties, light scent, works excellent on men's skin and most importantly didn't leave him feeling greasy or oily.

The base of this product is Sesame Oil.  It does most of the work.  It absorbs quickly, and has anti-inflammatory properties.  The essential oil blend of Bay and Lime isn't for the scent.  It is because the Bay oil is also known for helping with skin conditions, and in earlier times was used as a hair tonic.  It helps to fight bacteria and fungi.  This oil has been used in men's skin care for eons.  I saw no reason to change anything.  If it worked then, it would work now.

I gave some to my husband and nearly bit my tongue off while waiting to hear the results.  I took some around to local barbershops, mailed some off to men in my family.  Waiting for reviews is the hardest part. 

Well, my husband started out by  saying that his skin felt better - it no longer itched or was irritated.  He liked that the beard was softer and that the scent  dissipated over time.  Most important was that he didn't feel greasy or oily.  Overall he gave it an A+.  Results from the barbershops were also good.  It was better than I expected.

This product is also excellent for bald heads.  The base oil helps to protect from the sun, helps to keep the skin moist, helps with nicks and scrapes, as well as tightening the skin  and pores.  It is a highly concentrated product.  1 - 2 pumps is more than enough for the average beard.
